"I graduated with a BS from Cornell University, a MD degree from the University of Vermont in the College of Medicine and completed my pediatric residency at Baystate Medical Center."
"I grew up in Albany, NY as a chronic asthmatic, frequenting doctor's offices in the age before inhaled medications were available for its prevention. By age 12, I had decided that I was going to be a doctor who would help children and their families learn how to manage their allergies and asthma. As I passed through the years of college and medical school my focus expanded, but never changed course. Although I entered medicine with a personal interest in allergy and asthma, I have developed an interest in adolescent medicine and mental illness.
I have become a member of the National Association of Mental Illness (NAMI) and have taught their 12 week course to the parents of children with major mental illness."
"I believe in personal, comprehensive pediatric and adolescent care, making each patient a priority. I have been board certified and recertified every 7 years by the American Academy of Pediatrics. In 1987, I came to work in Berkshire County and opened my own office in 1999."
